I have officially begun working on the second movement of Triove entitled “Wants of Some Desires”. Each movement represents a different kind of love. The first (Siam Mais) is about an innocent love where the narrator could not contain his heart even if he wanted to. The second movement is about love gone astray and the feelings of hatred and betrayal that are left behind. The third movement… well you’ll have to wait and find out more about that later.
Similar to the other movements, “Wants of Some Desires” will feature a tenor voice and piano.
Additionally, the lyrics are also from Billy Corgan’s book of Poetry entitled “Blinking with Fists”. For a sneak speak as to what you’re in for I’ll give you the lyrics.
I’m given to wants of some desires
And given to wants of none at all
For fires consumed burn so bright
Unable to be drenched in the place of my soulFrom a drowsy spot just on the other side of sleep
Did you dream well, as I did of another
And another time altogether?
Lay such hand upon my brow
And take me with you as you leaveFor some light must penetrate old shadows
And I want you with sword in hand
To cross left over right, dark over night
You over me, me under youA confessor once spoke kind
That he loved all that he abhorred
For it kept him fixed in a place beyond nature
But things do shit, and that same confessor
Confesses to you
That my love,
As it once loved
Loves no more
